Our Beliefs

Ok, so how do we define our beliefs, when the Holy Spirit is constantly teaching us and blowing away our previous limitations of belief?  Well…we will at least attempt here.  If you really want to know more about what we believe, come and visit us and see for yourself.  First, let us state a few observations:

It seems that the dark and constraining religious spirits have, for millenniums, twisted and attempted to destroy humans who set out with the mission to truly do the will of God.  It seems that the very groups of people who have claimed to be children of God, and have claimed to be doing the "will of God," have in fact fallen into the trap of judging others.  In some cases, these judgments have been allowed to fester into such pain that the people harboring the judgments have lashed out at others even to the point of hatred, murder, and war.  Apparently, many of these unfortunate events have been bred from an attempt to control and homogenize the beliefs of others.  So, with these observations, we, at The Revolution Project, do not seek to control or to homogenize the beliefs of others.  We do gladly share our faith as individuals and we respect that we each have a unique relationship with the Most High God.  That being said, it is our hope that through our own faith, and out of the abundance of love that we walk in and display toward others, the true God will be seen and felt.

We are open to people of all faiths and religious backgrounds joining us for visits and for internships.  For long term community membership, it seems that those involved will have similar spiritual views in order to have a common foundation for building a life together.

As for the founders of the project, and for current community members, here are a few common beliefs we hold:

We believe that God loves all people and seeks personal relationship with all.

We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the messiah.  (We often use what we believe to be the original Hebrew name, Yeshua, because we think it sounds cooler.  Plus, because the name Jesus has been used for many years to persecute, condemn, and even kill others…hopefully some people who would be totally turned off to the Messiah will at least consider a dining appointment with him.)

We believe that through the sacrifice and resurrection of Yeshua, all humans have the opportunity for eternal life, regardless of race, political, or religious affiliations.

We believe that it is healthy to separate ourselves from the materialism that has infected much of the world, and seek instead the riches of a healthy personal relationship with God.

We seek to truly embody the love of the Most High God.

We seek to truly be the body of Christ.

We seek to live life in a constant state of humility and growth.

We seek to be led by the Holy Spirit.

We seek to love and forgive all people.

We seek to release all judgments of others.

We seek to live in peace with all.

We seek that our actions speak loud and we don't just blah, blah, blah….

We believe that through living in community and seeking higher consciousness together, there is such a great deal of accountability and personal growth that it is like being a tree by a spring fed stream.

We enjoy worshiping the Most High God through music, song, and dance…and other ways as well.

We like to be very open and honest in our communications with each other, without the insecurity or pride of the ego ruling us…In fact, we like to point out to each other if we observe the ego.  Sometimes this process can feel uncomfortable…and yet…oh, how great it is to be sharpened by our brothers and sisters.

We are living our faith.

Educational Philosophy
We seek to live in a state of constant surrender to the Source of all life.  We believe that judging other human beings is a great source of personal turmoil and pain, and has caused millenniums of prejudice, terror, and war.  We do not seek to push religious or political beliefs on any other person; rather we seek to display life-changing love through lives of selfless service.  We believe in the two great commandments: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself.
Some of our values:  Love, faith, hope, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, non-judgmental hearts, community, selfless service, and surrender to God.

Though we are not affiliated with any particular religious denomination, we are indeed servants of the Most High God, and followers of Yeshua (Jesus), the Messaiah.

Our educational philosophy is based on unearthing the strengths and talents in the student andassisting him/her to use those qualities as fundamental building blocks for self-realization.  Each human is created differently and possesses different talents.  These talents are channels of personal enjoyment, which are keys to open doors to deeper desire for self-discovery.  With a conscious desire and an active approach to self-discovery, destiny will be revealed.

We seek to assist young people in discovering who they are and who they were created to be.  This process of self-discovery begins during the application process with the questionnaire, and continues throughout the internship.  Our hope is that our students will continue the conscious journey of the heart throughout their lives.

Mission statement:
The mission of the The Revolution Project is to motivate and facilitate young people toward self-discovery and global consciousness through love in action, and to help people seek answers to the question, ¨Who Am I?.¨
