Who Am I ?
The Revolution Project Farm
Let us first make it clear that the farm is a healing center, and a place
for self-discovery.
All internships are first and foremost about the journey
of the heart, to seek the answer to the question, who am I? ...next, they are about service to others. We believe that
in order to truly love others, we must learn to love ourselves.
We are greatly
enjoying the process of planting trees, organic gardens, and building out of natural materials, such as mud, grass, and coffee
sticks...
We work with the children in public schools, teaching the arts, and
of course...love and surrender to the Spirit. We also offer teaching experience in tutoring our little gringo kids here
on the farm.
As with all of our projects, the hard work and dedication of the
interns and volunteers, coupled with the assistance of our financial supporters, is making the vision of The Revolution Project
a reality in the material plane.
The emphasis on the farm is on the journey of
the heart and self-discovery. We work together and live together as a community. Physical, emotional, and spiritual
healing is constant.
Physical, emotional, and spiritual counseling is available
on the farm to those who seek it.
Managua, Nicaragua - We sometimes visit the city dump of
Managua, called La Chureca. Over 1000 people live there,70 to 80% are children. There are many organizations currently
working at La Chureca. We take small groups and produce arts workshops, and play with the kids at the school.
The experience at La Chureca is not for the faint of heart, and is certainly a life-changing experience.
The hard work and dedication of the interns and volunteers, coupled with the assistance of our financial supporters,
is making the vision of The Revolution Project a reality in the material plane.
Though
we have one base location, our campus is also spread throughout Costa Rica in the mountains, in small towns, in cities, in
orphanages, in waterfalls, on beaches, and in jungles. We believe that intentional living within a community is a powerful
aid in personal development. Difficult interactions with others are opportunities for personal growththrough the sharpening
process of conflict resolution. Furthermore, such interactions serve as barometers for our own development, and as we
overcome tests, we will be given new tests with greater degrees of difficulty. Life is a school, and school is never out.
Our current goal is to purchase lands to build larger and additional farms in Costa Rica, which will include orphanages.
These campuses will include living facilities, community buildings, studios for all forms of the arts, organic gardens and
orchards, schools, and a host of recreational activities. Our goal is to purchase thousands of acres of land, not so
that we can build an empire of property, but rather so we can return the lands to more natural states, and so that we can
create homes and work for Costa Ricans who,due to tourism, have been "priced out" of the ability to ever purchase
land in their home country.
